The Strobe Blinky is a highly versatile game fishing lure featuring integrated STROBE light technology designed to raise fish from depth and provoke aggressive, committed strikes.

How the Blinky Runs

The slant face of the Blinky is balanced by its increased weight and longer skirt, producing a stable plunging action. The lure swims relatively straight, pops to the surface to “breathe” every 5 to 10 seconds depending on troll speed, then dives hard to create a dense, highly visible smoke trail.

This action profile makes the Blinky exceptionally effective across a wide range of sea states and lure positions.

Proven Performance on Marlin

Captain Steve Campbell ran this lure extensively throughout the 2024 and 2025 game fishing seasons in Tonga, where it earned the nickname “Blinky.”

The majority of the improved strike-rate statistics recorded with STROBE technology were achieved using this head shape, making it the most proven lure in the Strobe range.
