How to fish the Piper

1. Cast and retrieve: Cast the lure out and retrieve with short sweeping rod motions. This brings the swimming tail to life and keeps the rattle firing, mimicking a piper trying to escape.
   
   
2. Trolling: Troll over weedy areas and spots where garfish naturally gather at 2 to 3 knots. Hold the rod and add short sweeping motions as you go. Strikes come hard and fast right at the top of the water column.
